Khadie is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Independence Healthcare LLC primary care practice. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2021 from South University Savannah, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009 and a dual Master of Nursing Education (MSN-ED) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Degree in 2012 from Ohio University Athens, Ohio. Khadie is board certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and she is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAANP) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP).
She has over 20 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certified Nurse practitioner in various specialty areas from addiction medicine, pain management, Nurse educator, traumatic brain injury and Spinal Cord Rehabilitation, critical care ICU stepdown, ortho/neuro, and renal vascular. Motivated by her passion for excellent care delivery, Khadie strives to create an environment where her patients feel comfortable, respected and well taken care of. She loves that every day is different but gives her the opportunity to meet and build trusting relationships with all kinds of people,
Khadie is married to Samuel with two children. Outside of being a care provider, she enjoys spending time with family and friends who she holds dear to her heart, cooking delicious meals and traveling.
Catherine is Personable and courteous in all interactions with patients and visitors. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment. She is patient-focused, detail-oriented and consistently works to improve the overall operational efficiency of the practice by reducing patient wait times. She is good at multitasking, and she enjoys cooking and shopping.
